How to Register your Dog at Philippine Canine Club Incorporated
1. Secure Required Documents.
- Registration Certificate. Upon purchase, the seller should give you a registration certificate (much like a birth certificate) that is essentially a certificate of your dog’s identity, providing recognition and official documentation of your dog’s place in breed history. The name that appears on your dog’s registration certificate was chosen by your dog’s breeder and is unique. No other registered dog can have the same name.
- Pedigree. Together with your registration certificate is your dog’s pedigree that traces its parentage back four-generations. You must bring this document, with the back portion properly endorsed by the seller to the PCCI to be able to transfer the dog to your name as your proof of ownership.
2. Fill up membership form.
Applications for membership are downlodable on this website at the left portion of the Home page. These are also available at the PCCI office.
3. Submit Requirements and Forms to PCCI.
Please bring your requirements and duly signed forms at the PCCI office at Room A206 Hillcrest Condominium, 1616 E. Rodriguez Sr., Blvd., Corner Hillcrest Street, Cubao, Quezon City or you may also fax these to (02)7217152.

I got a Pug in Oct. 2008 I recently received the Certificate of Registration and I need to transfer ownership into my name. I know I have to complete the back of the Certificate of Registration for the transfer, but once I have done that who do I send the certificate to and how much money to I enclose for the transfer? I got a Jack Russell Terrier as a gift po. Wala syang papers but clearly purebred po sya, hitsura palang.

No litter shall be registered unless the breeder has an up to date registered kennel name. The litter owner, breeder and stud owner must be a paid up member in good standing with the PCCI.

if you are not into breeding your dog then transferring it under your name does not matter, but transferring it to your name means you own it na talaga. advantages are it is your truly now plus when you breed you can register the litters too.

need mo yung stud cert.. ang alam ko kelangan ung breeder ang mag paregister e. try to call pcci if pede ikaw na lang tas pagawa ka ng letter of authority sa breeder. if mag b-breed ka pwede ka magparegister ng kennel name din pero ung puppy na binili mo xempre kennel name po iyon ng breeder ang iibahin lang po don ay yung name ng new owner.

How long does it take for PCCI to complete the transfer of ownership? How do you pay if you are not in manila? Will you also have to pay for shipping fees?

A the previous owner signed it pero nilagay nya ang kanyang address instead of leaving it as a blank space? ano po ang gagawin ko with this matter. gusto ko na pong itransfer ang ownership ng aso ko into my name.

Hi Admin, my 1 yr 8 month old male dog is PCCI registered under the previous owner’s name. Can I get or ask for a Stud Certificate even if the dog’s ownership has not been transfered to me yet? Can I ask for a multiple stud certificate at once for a multiple stud services?

transfer the ownership under your name because once you make your dog available for stud the stud owner needs to sign the cert. im sure u wouldnt want to hassle to previous owner so transfer the dog first under ur name and yes you can get stud certs in their office.

Do i need to apply for membership at pcci to have my pet transferred to me?
Do i need a kennels name before applying for membership?
Please clarify w/c of these comes first.bcoz i`m also planning to breed this kind of dogs.

if your not breeding no need for kennel name.

Good Day po! Magtatanong lang po kung paano ang gagawin ko sa st. Bernard ko, nabili ko po yun three to four years ago, hindi ko po alam na kailangan ko pa ipatransfer sa name ko after bilihin. Paano ko po ipaparegister sa pangalan ko yung dog? Mayroon po ba na penalty? Kung mayroon po,magkano po kaya ang aabutin? hi..tanong ko po kung magpa-stud ako ng reg sire with my mini dax dam but with no papers, ung mga litter po ba pwedeng ipa-reg?
saka i bought a puppy a week ago no papers, same with parents but the owner said that sire only has a apers… can i reg the litter that i bought from the breeder?
