How to Register your Dog at Philippine Canine Club Incorporated
1. Secure Required Documents.
- Registration Certificate. Upon purchase, the seller should give you a registration certificate (much like a birth certificate) that is essentially a certificate of your dog’s identity, providing recognition and official documentation of your dog’s place in breed history. The name that appears on your dog’s registration certificate was chosen by your dog’s breeder and is unique. No other registered dog can have the same name.
- Pedigree. Together with your registration certificate is your dog’s pedigree that traces its parentage back four-generations. You must bring this document, with the back portion properly endorsed by the seller to the PCCI to be able to transfer the dog to your name as your proof of ownership.
2. Fill up membership form.
Applications for membership are downlodable on this website at the left portion of the Home page. These are also available at the PCCI office.
3. Submit Requirements and Forms to PCCI.
Please bring your requirements and duly signed forms at the PCCI office at Room A206 Hillcrest Condominium, 1616 E. Rodriguez Sr., Blvd., Corner Hillcrest Street, Cubao, Quezon City or you may also fax these to (02)7217152.

I got a Pug in Oct. 2008 I recently received the Certificate of Registration and I need to transfer ownership into my name. I know I have to complete the back of the Certificate of Registration for the transfer, but once I have done that who do I send the certificate to and how much money to I enclose for the transfer? What if po kunwari ganito situation?
I got a Jack Russell Terrier as a gift po. Wala syang papers but clearly purebred po sya, hitsura palang.

No litter shall be registered unless the breeder has an up to date registered kennel name. The litter owner, breeder and stud owner must be a paid up member in good standing with the PCCI.

Can you please say honestly the processing duration for this pup registrations at PCCI. I’m tired of following up to the previous owner of my pup.

Hey! uhm, when i register puppies, do they need to be brought to PCCI? or, You would just need the birth certificates of the parents?

stud cert po ay binibigay nung stud owner po pag nagpa stud po ang aso nyo, 1 copy lang po un

May 9th, 2010 at 8:23 ami bought a 8month old shitzu.. how can i transfer his documents under my name? the owner signed at the back of his paper.
this is my 1st time that im going to care for a shitzu. id like to inquire what would be the advantage and disadvantage if the dog is registered at pcci. what if hes not registered?

if you are not into breeding your dog then transferring it under your name does not matter, but transferring it to your name means you own it na talaga. advantages are it is your truly now plus when you breed you can register the litters too.

one proof kung pure breed siya is the Pedigree pero xempre before buying kelangan reaearch mo ang knyang breed standards di naman kasi lahat ng mgay papers ay quality dog or meaning good for breeding yun e kung mag bbreed ka but if not just love your dog

basihan po kc ay yung pedigree and to verify po call pcci then tell them the pcci reg no of the pup.. double coated po means makapal ang hair.

the dam’s owner will spend for everything kasi di ka nman nagbayad ng stud fee right? kaya yung pup na share nya ang parang payment mo.

June 23rd, 2010 at 7:33 amtanong kolang pano yung nabili kong AMBUll nawala yung pedigree cert, nandito lang yung dog registration ng AMBULL. pano ko mapa reregister sa PCCI eh wala yung pedigree cert. eh pano makikita yung ibang detalye ng AMBULL ko cguro sire at dam lang ang mailalagay sa pedigree cert. ng PCCI tama po ba ako pano wala na yung pedigree cert. nya di pag nag member ako ng pCCI ang lalabas lang sa pedigree cert. ng PCCI dam at sire lang. ganon po ba

July 11th, 2010 at 9:24 ammay ambull ako kso nawala ang pedigree cert. nya gusto ko sana paregisterd sa PCCI. ang papel nya ngayon AKCUPI kaso sire at dam lang ang nakalagay sa pedigree. pano kya makikita ko yung ibang detalye ng aso ko. dti po sya nka registered sa ABRP kso balita ko sarado na ang ABRP.
