Obama’s First Dog: A Portuguese Water Dog

The Obama hunt for a presidential dog is over and they are considering to adopt a rescue Portuguese Water dog, who is not a puppy but who is old enough and can match for the family’s dynamic.
“Temperamentally they’re supposed to be pretty good,” the first lady says of the breed developed by sailors.
Everybody wants to know when it will be in the White House, well Mrs First Lady told on people magazine interview and her daughters that it will be on April.
“So Sasha says, ‘April 1st.’ I said, ‘April.’ She says, ‘April 1st.’ It’s, like, April!,” Mrs. Obama recalls. “Got to do it after spring break. You can’t get a new dog and then go away for a week.”
