Is My Chihuahua Just Shedding?

We had our chihuahua late December of 2008 and she already has this bald spot due to shedding. But recently we are noticing her of having flakes and areas that simply has no hair anymore. I am so scared to use chemicals on her because she is a tiny puppy. But her breeder is kind enough to educate us about the do’s and dont’s so now I am using a soap with madre de cacao and changed her dog food and I think she is becoming well already.
I want to be sure that this medication is safe for my dogs. (Like how I am with my diet pills too, I used Apidexin and it has no significant side effects known to date). And I assure you that it is safe but never allow suds to come near the eyes and mouth, okey?
I would suggest your dog is sufferiung from mineral loss due to a food supply not adiquate for the nutritional needs. Avoid using chemicals and treatments, instead find a HIGH quality foos such as Solid Gold, or Science Diet for your pooch. This is a nutrition problem, and you first need to focus on high quality food for your pet.

I have a chi pup, she’s only 2months old. I’m just a beginner in taking care of chi pups so i don’t know what’s the right food to feed her..i buy a dog food but she only eats a little.she cannot finished a 1/4 cup of it.but she’s active and playful, i’m just bothered why she eats too little..maybe she don’t like the food?i don’t know…please help me, what right food am i going to give her?..thank you…^_^…

1/4 cup is too much for a 2month old chi some only give by numbers like 20kibbles per meal
so i think there is no prob on the way she eats right now and as you’ve said she is petty playful and stuff so do not worry, just update her vaccination and deworming
