Importance of Deworming your Puppy
It is really important to deworm your dog as early as 20 days since birth or at most 6 weeks of life. It is important because dogs have parasites and their body will no respond to any vaccination if they were not properly dewormed.
If not dewormed, your dog will be prone to gastrointestinal disorders that is common to puppies and it may not help them to develop normally and may cause your dog a lot of diseases and illnesses that can be fatal at times.
Deworming is like Colonix to humans that cleans all unwanted bacteria inside our intestines and stomach. But we should always remember that it is best to deworm your dog with a veterinarian, because they will help you indicate the dosage of the dewormer to be taken by your dog.
The vet will check your dogs weight, age, if you have other pets, check your dogs skin and coat and will sometimes need to do feces analysis just to confirm the parasites present in your puppy. Then your vet will decide on what is the most effective dewormer for your puppy and can advised the pet owner to keep off the kids for the meantime because some parasites can be transferable to human so therefor if you want your dogs to live a happy life with your kids being safe with them, vaccinations and deworming is really important not only for your puppy but to your whole household.
