What is BARF Diet?

BARF Diet is an acronym for Biologically Appropriate Raw Food Diet or some uses Bones and Raw Food Diet, it aims for optimum wellness. Optimum wellness means optimum diet and it will result to an optimum health.
Many breeders and veterinarians who are so conscious about their pets health uses BARF diet instead of the processed dog foods that are already available to any pet shops. Dr. Ian Billinghurst started it and still recommends it because he believes in the ultimate way to get you pets on its optimal health is to teach your dog what they would eat in his natural environment.
There are a lot of health advantages that BARF Diet gives:
- NO allergies
- NO skin problems
- NO need to use phentermine diet pills because there is NO weight problems; and
- NO anal gland problems which have been found that the bones and raw food diet has helped to significantly cure all these issues.
- NO preservatives
- Muscle mass and body condition improve on a raw food diet.
The only disadvantage on BARF diet is that you need a lot of time to prepare them, LOL!
If you want to try BARF Diet on your dog, first do the research, second ask your vet, third make a gradual transition, next is be friends with BARF users to compare notes and lastly do not cook the bones, dogs choke on cook bones and not the raw ones.
Happy Barfing!
