My Dogs and Storm Ondoy Story

Posted on September 28, 2009 by admin

Last Saturday we experienced the biggest flood ever, it almost went inside our house which is 1 meter above the street level but our toilet room had flood waters already due to drain. But aside from me fearing for the flood to reach me and my daughter I was also afraid for my dogs. One reason is that I do not have the key to their cage ( yes they were locked up at night because there are a lot of dog snatchers in our place) because my husband went out for work and I am so helpless to see my dogs knee deep inside their cage with flood.

One of my rottweilers floor matting were washed away by the flood that made her neck deep because she was not now elevated from the garage flooring. Called up my husband to go home because the flood is getting bigger and higher already, my aspin kulas was swimming through the floods let him dry inside our house during the flooding but still 3 of my dogs are in the flood..

Luckily my husband got home (after 3hrs from boni ave. due to no vehicle available from monumento to our place) before my dogs got drowned, that incident made me thought of a fast and easy online life insurance quotes available for dogs to search but unfortunately electricity was out for 12 hrs already at that time. But I am happy that my household, both human and dogs, are safe and alive after the storm Ondoy.
