Dog as a gift?

Nowadays we see lovers who are not yet married are having a baby but of course a puppy no the real baby right? Boyfriends give their girlfriends a puppy during anniversaries or special events in their lives and they treat it as their baby. That is cool because dogs need love, affection and attention all the time and if they have a loving parent I am sure the fur baby is so happy too.. so back off red roses dogs are in for lovers now!
