Mange is a contagious disease that is transferable to both animals and humans. They are caused by parasitic mites and they are contagious. They usually stay in the animals skin or hair follicles, it really depends on the parasitic mites that is in the animal, this disease are usual on canines especially dogs.

There are two types of Mange the demodectic and sarcoptic mange, infected dog should be isolated if you have many dogs and the area should be cleaned so that it wont harm any animals and humans at home. Go to your vet for some medications for your dog and if you, human, also got this disease do not self medicate, it wont be removed by any acne scrub on your bedroom but instead consult a dermatologist.
