During the Ancient times Chinese Sharpei’s re used for their farm as working dog or a guard dog, Sharpei means sandy coat and today Sharpei’s are used for agility, conformation, obedience and tracking. They said that this breed are very stubborn and aloof but very devoted to his family.

Sharpeis are bright and intelligent dogs, the learn quick but needs to be socialized and trained on their early months and the owner needs a lot of patience for the breed. Sharpei needs a lot of grooming done on their nails and ears but we cannot used the best eye cream for wrinkles because wrinkles are so normal to them and that needs a lot of cleaning on the folds.
