Usually what I do is to bathe them 2 to 3 times a week, trim their hair and sometimes if they get fleas and ticks I made the vet do the rest, lol! but for maintenance you should use frontline on a monthly basis. Next would be enough water within their reach, a cold cushion specially at night so they can have a good night sleep. Sometimes I also gave them ice cubes when it is too humid and hot for them.

If you plan to travel with your dog be sure that their vaccination is updated. We have to be sure that they cannot acquire fatal sicknesses during your travel everywhere, anywhere. A simple 5 in 1 shot or higher version of it is enough plus the anti-rabies and proper vitamins and supplements should be given according to their breed and needs. Not all dogs need all the supplements that you think they need better search for their breed history so that you would know what is your breeds common sicknesses.

We all know that sharpei’s are cute as it is but before getting one you should actually prepare yourself for a lot of cleaning and grooming thinks to buy on a monthly basis, it depends on your usage. First, you have to read and search about their skin problems. Yes they have sensitive skin because for one their wrinkles are not a feature to their breed but is actually a disease already so we have to know first how to take care of their skin properly.
