Having a healthy coat means having a healthy skin right? We really love looking at our dogs in full bloom but sometimes let us admit that they are also feeling itchy and flaky and that is the indication that maybe it is just a skin or hair problem that lacks proper caring or there might be an underlying sickness by having an unbalance diet.

Here are the things we should consider on having a healthy skin and coat for dogs:

1. Be sure that your dog is getting a balance diet. Get a brand of dog food that is trusted and known for having carbohydrates, proteins, fiber, and essential vitamins and minerals on their ingredients. Home made foods are also recommended but see vets consultation for the do’s and don’ts.

We dog lovers treat our dog as a family and as a family we still want to be with them longer or even a lifetime but we all know that dog’s lifespan is just 13 years or a little bit more right? so we took them to the vet for many health check ups more than ourselves right? they have more medications and treatments for emergency purposes at home even more than what we have on our emergency first aid kit, lolz!

I have always wanted all my fur babies to appear in one picture because it is so hard for me to make them stay and not run around whenever I allowed them to play altogether. Imagine I have two rottweilers who are fond of pissing off my chihuahua and get angry whenever my aspin tagged along with her with my pug just hiding while barking. My labrador chasing my shih-tzu to play that every time she is doing that she gets to pee a lot anywhere maybe because she is afraid or something.

I really really want to learn how to groom because I think I found my breed because of my shih-tzu Amber. We get along well, she does not do all the things I do not like and she pleases me and makes me happy all the time. I am just wondering if all shih-tzu’s are like that? now I am wanting to get another to see because my Cholo, a shih-tzu, just died after a month stay with me and I love him too.

I read this through PAWS multiply account the animaladvocates, so I am reposting the story, I hope champ is safe and will be home soon.

My friends 5 years old (tomorrow bday nya) dog, champ (I fondLy caLL him “champopo”), went missing last night, March 19, 2010.

He was seen last night in front of my friends house, as per the tricycle driver, may kumuha daw sa harap ng house nila na naka-motorcycle na may naka-angkas na girl.
