If your dog is always alone in your garden and does not have any dog playmate, human companion or just toys to play with then expect that they will do some naughty things in your garden such as pulling your plants and digging craters.
Some dogs do this to get attention, they are bored, looking for prey or needs to protect themselves or they are just born to dig like the terrier breed or just born to hunt like the herding and sporting breeds of dog.

I have seen the episode of one local magazine show here about the dog whisperer in the Philippines and I am so impressed that we actually have one like him. You know now I regret the day I gave away my first owned “purebreed” dog my pitbull to a willing dog less friend under her care because my pittbull cannot be at peace with my other dogs and I also cannot make her tamed. But between me and Maxine my pitbull we are really close like she is sweet, follows me around but I think she is a jealous type. But if I knew ahead that there is a somebody like the dog whisperer I know he can make Maxine changed into a more friendly sweet girl to others.

Well we always say that having a new puppy at home is like having a new baby too. We adults are the ones responsible on moving and removing such valuable things, harmful things and toxic things away from their reach. We see to it that the rugs are removed, the chemicals are hidden and the pointed things are now covered or moved.

If you are having a dog for the first time see to it that if they are not caged and you want for them just to move inside the house better make it dog proof. By doing so you can avoid any accidents that your dog might encounter because of them being young and untrained. Dog proofing your house is also the same as like child proofing your home.
