If you are asking me what are the best Prenatal Vitamins for dogs? I cannot really recommend because I do not know any. All I know is the daily vitamins and supplements that they need depending on their breed and also the vitamins they need during pregnancy. Some needs iron some needs calcium, it is still better to go to your veterinarian for the proper guidance because each pregnancy might need a different medicine and supplements.

Animal Shelters 0

I salute all the volunteers of all the local animal shelters in the Philippines because even if they are not paid and does not have any benefits to do this job, unlike in the US specifically in North Carolina the volunteers are given a health and life insurance from the leading health and life insurance company of Blue Cross Blue Shield NC, but still the local volunteers are all willing to help the animals specially the dogs.

Are you in favor of your dogs getting micro chipped? Well honestly I do not get its used because some of my friends had it on their dog and they said that it is not like a cell phone spy or a person tracker you used on your cell phone to check or track their whereabouts that acts like gps but the micro chipped for dogs are not working properly in the Philippines, they cannot track their dogs. Plus the fact that it is very expensive to have your dog micro chipped and still they did not find any good use for it. So I hope to get more information regarding the benefit of micro chipping them and I hope that the very purpose of doing that will be used.

Did you know that the wrinkled dogs are more prone to Demodectic mange due to its skin under its wrinkles that are often bypass whenever you bathe them. So if you own one please see to it that you wash everything including their ears and eyelids but of course do not irritate the eye. Skin infections or pyodermas are so difficult to control in the folds of the wrinkled dogs that are due to fleas, scratching and bites.
