For example if you play baseball you can actually asked your dog to pick the balls for you and also at the same time they are having a great time running for the ball and that is a great way to exercise your dog to avoid getting obese and lazy.

As a reward for a great game you had, you can give them a great athletes meal, a baseball ball as their toy or even a personalized baseball bats under their name during your game time. I am sure they will be too excited to play with you again but of course the most important reward that a dog can get from their master is their time and love.

Prenatal Vitamins for Dogs

If you are asking me what are the best Prenatal Vitamins for dogs? I cannot really recommend because I do not know any. All I know is the daily vitamins and supplements that they need depending on their breed and also the vitamins they need during pregnancy. Some needs iron some needs calcium, it is still better to go to your veterinarian for the proper guidance because each pregnancy might need a different medicine and supplements.

Dog pregnancy is not the same as a human pregnancy were prenate dha is readily available in the market but also under the supervision of an OB-Gyne.

So if you want your dog to be healthy during their pregnancy, be sure that they are healthy everyday.

Animal Shelters

I salute all the volunteers of all the local animal shelters in the Philippines because even if they are not paid and does not have any benefits to do this job, unlike in the US specifically in North Carolina the volunteers are given a health and life insurance from the leading health and life insurance company of Blue Cross Blue Shield NC, but still the local volunteers are all willing to help the animals specially the dogs.

But also I condemned the volunteers who put the dogs to death by using the “TAMBUCHO” way. I know that putting them to sleep will cost you a lot but you can ask your local government or any other Animal institution that would be gladly to assists you on doing the humane way of putting them to sleep.

SO PLEASE STOP THE TAMBUCHO KILLINGs OF THE DOGS!

Chips on Dogs

Are you in favor of your dogs getting micro chipped? Well honestly I do not get its used because some of my friends had it on their dog and they said that it is not like a cell phone spy or a person tracker you used on your cell phone to check or track their whereabouts that acts like gps but the micro chipped for dogs are not working properly in the Philippines, they cannot track their dogs. Plus the fact that it is very expensive to have your dog micro chipped and still they did not find any good use for it. So I hope to get more information regarding the benefit of micro chipping them and I hope that the very purpose of doing that will be used.

Labradors love Water

Did you know that the breed called Labradors are family oriented dogs and they are kind with kids but not with your things, lolz! I found that out after being with my labrador, Samantha. She like to bark a lot, play a lot and to rip off things into pieces. That is why we let her learned some basic discipline and she is quite tamed now but still she has a jolly personality.

One thing I noticed that she really loves water, she smiles every time I am giving her a bath and you could notice that twinkle in her eyes the moment I turn the faucets of our garden hose and spray to her.. she happily jumps and play with water so it took me half a hour just to soap and shampoo her. I love labradors, they are a fun and loving breed.
